First it was the iPad 2, however now technology fans around the world are turning their attention to Apple's iPhone 5 which looks set to be released later this year. Speculation and rumours are everywhere on the latest iPhone's design and technology specifications, whether it be information on processor ability or leaked pictures of the device itself. Manufacturing Digital takes a look at the latest developments of the Apple iPhone 5.
DESIGN
Leaked images of the iPhone 5 have appeared courtesy of iDealsChina, who previously released accurate designs of the 4th generation iPod Nano. The only real major physical difference is the screen, with the edges running even closer to the phone's main casing.
This latest image reinforces a recent leaked photo from the same source in China which showed the iPhone 5's bezel. Although not official, the picture also reveals the main design will stay the same and not have a curved back like the iPhone 3GS, however Apple may think about changing the frame and antenna due to widely publicised signal problems.

TECHNOLOGY
It seems increasingly likely that the Apple iPhone 5 will use the A5 processor which was recently introduced in the iPad 2. Although this rumour is by no means official, Apple's recent iOS 4.3 software update coding mentioned 'N94AP', which would signify a yet-to-be-released iPhone based on previous device code names.
This may cause concern for Samsung however, as rumours suggest Apple will shift production of the iPhone 5 to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSMC).
